SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Mrs. Annie Bell Ackiss, 52, of 1098 Darvin Place, a native 
of Edenton, N.C., died February 22 in a hospital.

She was a member of Zion Light Church of Christ Disciples in Norfolk.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Crawford of San Diego; a son, 
Raymond Lee Ackiss of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Smith of Mt. Vernon, 
N.Y.; five brothers, Lloyd Elliott, Gilbert Holley, and Willy Holley of Norfolk, 
and Joseph T. Elliott and Luke W. Elliott of Brooklyn; and three grandchildren.

The body was sent to E.A. Hughes Funeral Home, Norfolk. A funeral will be held 
Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Zion Light Church of Christ Disciples, Norfolk, by the 
Rev. James McNair. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family in Norfolk 
will be at 7619 Elm St.
