NANNIE JETT - Of 1523 Liberty Street, South Norfolk, Friday night at 11:30 o'clock at a local hospital after an illness of 10 months, MRS. NANNIE JETT ACKISS, daughter of the late Horace and Nancy Jett and the widow of the late Granville T. Ackiss, aged 71 years. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson Streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted MONDAY AFTERNOON at 2 o'clock. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. *************** Mrs. Nannie Jett Ackiss, 71, of 1523 Liberty Street, South Norfolk, died Friday night at 11:30 o'clock at a local hospital after an illness of 10 months. A native of Hampton, she had made her home in this section 50 years. Mrs. Ackiss was the daughter of the late Horace and Nancy Jett and widow of the late Granville T. Ackiss. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Cassel, of South Norfolk; Miss Adeline Blanchard, of Norfolk and Mrs. Levy Talbott, of Richmond, and five grandchildren. The body was removed to Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
