Dr. Henry F. Adams, 90, of Shamel Manor, died at 11 p.m. Friday at Brokaw 
Hospital.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Oliver Funeral Home, Norfolk, Va. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Metzler Memorial Home is handling local 
arrangements.
He was born Nov. 11, 1882, at Oak Park, a son of Samuel H. and Mary Dunbar 
Adams. He married Susan Hitch Aug. 24, 1915, at Norfolk, Va. She died June 27, 
1968.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Henry H. Adams, of 205 Mays Drive, two grand-
children and two great-grandchildren.
Dr. Adams was a professor of psychology at the University of Michigan from 1911 
to 1951. He was a graduate of Wesleyan University in Connecticut and received 
his doctorate from the University of Chicago in 1910. He was the author of 
several books in psychology.
He moved to Shamel Manor from Ann Arbor in October of 1968.
Memorials may be made to the entertainment fund of Shamel Manor.
