Portsmouth - Rosa Adams of 403 Norcum Circle, a native of Princess Anne County,
died Monday in a hospital.

Miss Adams had retired from a job at Dixie Jute Bagging Corp. after 40 years.
She was a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church.

Survivors include seven sisters, Vanissie Davis, Eldora Manley, Maria Teel and
Ruth Freeman, all of Norfolk, Pearl Holley and Geneva Forbes, both of Virginia
Beach, and Louise Gregory of Portsmouth; and a brother, James Adams of Virginia
Beach.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in St. John A.M.E. Church by the
Rev. Emanuel Terrell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is
in charge.

The family will be at the residence.
