She was a native of Michigan and had been a resident of Norfolk for 32 years. She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Mrs. Serrenta Grice Smith and resided at 1358 West Thirty-eighth street. Mrs. Adams was a past president of the Rebecca Assembly of Virginia, past Pocahontas of Indianola Council No. 12, Degree of Pocahontas, and past president of Harbor Rebecca Lodge No. 37 of Norfolk. Surviving her are her husband, Herbert Ashby Adams, a sister, Mrs. Lula Ramsey, of Crewe and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road. Notice of funeral will appear later. ******************************************* Mrs. Ida Bell Adams - Funeral services for Mrs. Adams, who died Monday at a local hospital, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Zion Methodist Church. They will be conducted by the Rev. W.T. Green, pastor of the church. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The body is now at the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road, where it was prepared for burial.
