Roy Dana Adams, 47, of 4203 Neptune Ave., Chesapeake, a welder for Martin Friedman 
Welding, Inc., died Friday in a hospital.  A native of Henniker, N.H., he was the 
husband of Mrs. Mary Patalano Adams and a son of  Roy William and Mrs. Stella 
Bailey Adams.  He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
Others surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Katherine Curling, of Chesapeake, Mrs. 
Diane Noyes, of Ballston-Spa, N.Y., Mrs. Stella Griffin, of Norfolk, and Miss 
Patricia Adams of Chesapeake; a son, Roy G. Adams, of Norfolk; and three sisters, 
Mrs. Patricia Brill, of Henniker, Mrs. Helen Milligan, of Ridgewood, N.J., and 
Mrs. Rose Kern, of Massachusetts.  The Office of the Dead will be recited in H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments at 8:30 p.m. Sunday and a Requiem Mass will be said in 
St. Matthew's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday.  Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
