Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, October 2, 2000 
Dockery S. Adams, 49, of the 5300 block of Halter Lane, died Sept. 27, 2000.

Mr. Adams was a son of Naomi Lambert Adams and the late William Adams. Survivors
include three sisters, Naomi A. Spalding of Virginia Beach, Beulah A. Epperson
of Houston, Texas, and Pendula A. Cooke of Chesapeake; and a host of aunts,
uncles and other relatives.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Cemetery by
the Rev. Tim Jackson. Walton Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, is handling
arrangements.
