The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Wednesday December 17, 1958 
Harold George Adams, retired Postal supervisor with 30 years' service, died 
suddenly Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
He was the husband of Mrs. Vaughn Guillaudeu Adams, and a son of the late 
George and Mrs. Mary Adams.
A native of Norwich, Conn., he had resided in Norfolk for 40 years, lately at 
121 E. Severn Rd. He was a veteran of World War I.
He was a member of Ghent Methodist Church, the National Assn. of Postal 
Supervisors, Elizabeth Lodge 34, A.F.& A.M.; Grace Commander 16, Knights 
Tmplar; Khedive Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S., and American Legion Post 69.
The body was taken to the Cox Funeral Home, where funeral services will be 
conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. Archie Acey, pastor of Ghent 
Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
