Funeral services for John E. Adams, 84, 1049 Princess Anne road, were held at 
Hale’s parlor, April 9. The Rev. E. W. Williams officiated. Mr. Adams, who was a 
Civil War veteran, had lived here 60 years. His widow, Mrs. Julia Adams, survives. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
