Norfolk Virginian-Pilot, Wednesday, February 10, 1965

CHESAPEAKE - Percival Durant Adamson Sr., 43, of 607 Marcus St. died Tuesday in 
a Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Katherine Adamson and a son of 
the late Percival O. and Mrs. Etta S. Adamson.

He was a mail clerk at Norfolk Post Office 15 years, a member of First Baptist 
Church, Crestwood, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Percival D. Adamson Jr., and two 
daughters, Brenda Etta Adamson and Jane Karen Adamson, all of Chesapeake; and a 
brother, Oliver S. Adamson of Portsmouth.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 
Crestwood. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in 
charge.
