Virginian Pilot
Mary Elizabeth Bell Addenbrook, 88, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, passed 
away on Jan. 3, 2004. Mrs. Addenbrook was born on Feb. 1, 1915, to Mamie Lee 
and Branson Caleb Bell. She was a graduate of Maury High School and was an 
active member of Talbot Park Baptist Church for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, J. Arthur Addenbrook Jr.; a 
daughter, Mary Fanshaw and husband Jesse of Virginia Beach; a son, Bill 
Addenbrook and wife Genness of Augusta, GA; three grandchildren, David 
Fanshaw, Bryan Addenbrook and wife Alicia, and Michelle Richardson and husband 
Aaron; and seven great-grandchildren.

A service was held Wednesday at Talbot Park Baptist Church by the Rev. Keith 
Martin and the Rev. John Baldwin. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery , 
Norfolk.
