Norfolk Virginian November 30 & December 1, 1883
ADDISON – On Thursday morning at her residence on Princess Anne Road, at 5:50 
o’clock, Mrs. ELIZABETH ADDISON, aged 65 years.
Her funeral will take place SATURDAY at 2 p.m. from her late residence. Friends 
and acquaintances invited to attend.
O, many a mournful year hath flown,
Since first, amid our family band,
Death came and stole our loveliest one,
And bore her to the Spirit Land.

THE FUNERAL OF THE LATE MRS. ELIZABETH ADDISON has been postponed and will take 
place from her residence, on Princess Anne avenue, TOMORRO (Sunday) at 2 p.m., 
and not today as previously stated.
