Addison, wife of James S. Addison, died at the residence of her son-in-law, J.C. Sterling, 318 Thirty-third Street, at 7 o'clock last night. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Addison suffered a stroke of paralysis at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and died four hours later. She is survived by one son, H.L. Addison and one daughter, Mrs. J.C. Sterling and four grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Park Place. **************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Alice A. Addison, widow of James S. Addison, was held at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Park Place, at 3:00 o'clock p.m. yesterday and was largely attended. There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes. Among them a cluster of pink roses from the Ladies Guild of St. Peter's Church, a cluster of pink carnations from the vestry of St. Peter's Church and a pillow from the Norfolk Lodge of Eagles of which her son is a member. The service was conducted by Rev. George S. Vest, rector of the church and Rev. Reuben Meredith of St. Peter's P.E. Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: Thomas Townsend, R.F. Lawler, J.E. Britton, E.J. Holmes, J.H. Nininger, D.T. Rife.
