The funeral will be conducted from the above residence TUESDAY AFTERNOON, May 23, at 5:30 o'clock. Interment in Magnolia cemetery. Friends of the family respectfully invited to attend. ************************** Richard Adkins, 35 years old, a native of North Carolina and well known and respected in South Norfolk where he has resided for eleven years, died yesterday morning at 8:05 o'clock, after a lingering illness of several months duration, at the family residence, 55 Liberty street extended, South Norfolk. He was the son of the late William Henry and Mrs. Peniny Deal Adkins. He is survived by several brothers and sisters. The funeral services will be conducted from the above residence tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 o'clock, with Rev. Charles Straughn, officiating. The interment will be in Magnolia cemetery. Oakdale Lodge, No. 70, of which the deceased was an esteemed member has been called out to attend the funeral services.
