A native of Durham, N.C., she was a daughter of Mrs. Haddie McCullough Rawls and the late Holman Calvin Rawls and the wife of Peter Alexander Agelasto Jr. She was active in church work at Eastern Shore Episcopal Chapel, of which she was a member, and Washington Cathedral Association. She was a member of Junior League of Norfolk and Colonial Dames of America. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Peter A. Agelasto III of Virginia Beach and Michael A. Agelasto II of Peoria, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Richard D. Cooke Jr. of Norfolk and Mrs. John J. Gayner of Atlanta. The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road. A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Eastern Shore Episcopal Chapel by the Rev. Ben Duffy. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Eastern Shore Episcopal Chapel or Washington Cathedral Association.
