Virginian-Pilot November 8, 1939
Peter Alexander Agelasto, aged 72, a native of Bombay, India, and a former well-
known, resident of Norfolk, died Monday morning at his country home near Macon, 
N. C. Mr. Agelasto suffered a cerebral hemorrhage several years ago and since 
had been a semi-invalid.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Catherine Thorpe Agelasto, he is survived by one son, P. 
A. Agelasto, Jr., of Norfolk; two brothers, Michael A. Agelasto, of Norfolk, and 
A. M. Agelasto, of Washington, D.C.
Services were held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery yesterday afternoon at 3:30 
o’clock with Chaplain William E. Callender, U.S.P.H.S., officiating. The casket 
was covered with a pall of red roses and fern.
