Virginian-Pilot  September 5, 1942
Mrs. Joanne Agostini, aged 81, widow of Guglielmo Agostini, died at a local 
hospital yesterday morning at 9:50 o'clock.  She was a native of Verli, Italy, but 
had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 23 years.  Surviving her are two 
daughters, Mrs. Quirino Camille, of New York City, and Mrs. Stanley S. Vergili, of 
Norfolk; three sons, Edward L., Edwin and Edmond, all of New York City; 12 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
The body was removed to the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 Colley Avenue, 
pending completion of funeral arrangements.

Agostini, Joanne - At a local hospital, Friday morning, September 4, 1942, at 9:50 
o'clock, Mrs. Joanne Agostini, widow of Guglielmo, died in the 82nd year of her 
age.  Remains were taken to the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 1920 Colley 
Avenue, corner of Harrington, pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
