J. O’Keefe, Virginia Beach, at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon in the 85th year of his age. The deceased was born in Ireland but came to America over 60 years ago and had been a resident of Norfolk for over a half century. He was a man of sterling character and upright and conscientious in all his dealings with his fellowman, which gave him a universal popularity in Norfolk. He is survived by the following nephews and nieces: Messrs. W. J. and John J. O’Keefe, Misses Annie and Ellen O’Keefe, John J. Burke and William Walsh, all of this city. His funeral will be held from St. Mary’s Catholic church at 9:30 a. m. today.
