Virginian-Pilot  September 3, 1961
Mrs. Agnes Florence Gaffney Ahman, 70, widow of Frank Paul Ahman and daughter of 
William F. and Mrs. Mary Malone Gaffney, died Friday in Kings Daughters Hospital, 
Staunton, after a short illness.
Mrs. Ahman, a native of St. Louis, lived in Norfolk 40 years, lately at 511 W. 
30th St.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving are one son, Frank P. Ahman, Jr., of Ottawa, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. 
Joseph A. McDermott, of Arlington; and six grandchildren.
The body will be brought to Norfolk and taken from her home to Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.  The Rosary will be recited in her home Monday at 7:30 p.m.
