Kalil Akoury, 98, a retired salesman, died Feb. 8, 1992, in a hospital.
Mr. Akoury was born in Beirut, Lebanon.  He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Clementine Akoury; four stepdaughters, Mary Artis, of 
Norfolk, Jeannette Caldwell, of Atlanta, Marguerite Burns, of Williamsburg, and 
Yvonne Wolf, of Norfolk; a son, Chuck Akoury; and three stepsons, Edward Nemie, 
Joseph Nemie and Julius Nemie, all of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be private.  
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
