Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 5, 1934 

William Henry Albert, aged 73, husband of Ola Sawyer Albert, died at Memorial 
Hospital, Richmond, yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock. He was a native of 
Washington, N.C. and was a resident of Norfolk for 25 years before moving to 
Richmond, where he had resided for the past five years, making his home at 608 
North Twenty-seventh Street. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, James 
Albert; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body will arrive 
in Norfolk over Norfolk & Western Railway tomorrow morning.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, 436 
Thirty-fifth Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.

ALBERT, WILLIAM HENRY – At Richmond, Va., Thursday, October 4, 1934, at 11:30 
a.m., WILLIAM HENRY ALBERT, husband of Ola Sawyer Albert, in the 74th year of 
his age.
Funeral services will be held at the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home, 436 
Thirty-fifth street, THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON, October 6, 1934, at 2:00 
o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood 
Cemetery.
