Virginian Pilot May 24, 1964

Mrs. Olivia White Albright of 3837 Beach Ave., died Saturday afternoon in a 
hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of M.J.W. White Sr. and Mrs. Nannie 
Harris White and the widow of Edward Matthew Albright. She was a member of 
Christian Temple.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mattie White Briscoe of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 
a brother, Dr. M.J.W. White of Luray; and a nephew, P.B. White of Virginia 
Beach.
The body was taken to Cox Funeral Home.

NORFOLK – A funeral service for Mrs. Olivia White Albright, who died Saturday, 
will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home by Dr. Frank R. Hamilton of 
the Christian Temple. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at 
208 W. 37th St. Besides other relatives, she is survived by two stepsisters, 
Mrs. Helena O. White of Beach Haven, N.J. and Mrs. Edward Ireland of Norfolk; 
and a stepbrother, Thane P. Odell of Los Angeles, Calif.
