Mrs. Gladys Martha Alderman, 52, died yesterday at 5:40 p.m. at the residence, 
5408 Douglas St., after a long illness.
She was a native of Burlington, Vt., and had lived in Norfolk for three and a half 
years.  She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She was a daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Pine Vezina and Octave Joseph Vezina.
Surviving are her husband, Edward H. Alderman, Sr., and a daughter, Miss Beverly 
Ann Alderman, of Norfolk; four sons, Edward H. Alderman, Jr., USN; Donald Kenneth 
Alderman, of Burlington; Rae Edmund Alderman and Thomas Joseph Alderman, both of 
Norfolk; and one sister, Mrs. Christine Daniels, of San Francisco, Calif.
The body was taken to the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home.
