NORFOLK - Mrs. Captolia Virginia Alex of 1028 Galt St., the wife of Richard T. 
Alex and a native of Princess Anne County, died Sunday in Amarillo, Tex.

She was a member of First Church of Christ Holiness, U.S.A., where she was 
president of the Christian Women's Willing Workers, member of the Pastor's Aid 
and Senior Bible Class, and a past president of Usher Board 1.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Captolia Anderson of Norfolk and 
Mrs. Thelma Ragin of Summerton, S.C.; four grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in First Church of Christ Holiness by 
the Rev. Eugene Brown. Burial will be in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery 
with Hale Funeral Home in charge. The family, which will be at her home, will 
have visitation at the funeral home Friday night from 7:30 to 8:30.
