Virginian Pilot May 31, 1903

ALEXANDER - At her residence, No. 172 May Avenue, Saturday, May 30th, 1903, at 
9:20 a.m., ANNIE, beloved wife of W.R. Alexander, aged 39 years.
The funeral will take place THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON, May 31st, 1903 at 6 
o'clock, from the residence. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to 
attend.

The funeral of Mrs. Annie Alexander, wife of Mr. W.R. Alexander, was held from 
the residence, 172 May Avenue, yesterday afternoon, 6 o'clock, the Rev. Dr. C.B. 
Blackwell, officiating. Interment was made in Elmwood, with the following 
pallbearers: Messrs. Seth Morgan, T.W. Ardison, W.H. Gregory, Walter Inman, 
Shelby Nelson and James Mills.
