Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 6,1943
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Alexander, 25, 842 Fremont street, who died in a 
local hospital, January 23, were held at Hale’s Chapel with the Rev. E. W. 
Williams officiating.  Surviving are her husband, Dick Alexander;  four children, 
her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
