Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday April 4, 1943
Julian Lee Alexander, infant son of Tilton M. and Mrs. Katie Mae Beach Alexander, 
Route 2, Portsmouth, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 8:15 o'clock 
after an illness of 12 days.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by two 
brothers, Cecil Thomas and Tilton Godfrey Alexander; his maternal grandparents, 
Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Beach, of Hobgood, N.C. and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and 
Mrs. R.C. Alexander, of Robersonville, N.C.
The body will be taken from the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover avenue, corner 
Manteo street, to Forest Lawn Cemetery for services at the grave tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The Rev. W.D. Morris, pastor of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist 
Church, will officiate.
