NORFOLK - Mrs. Susie D. Harris Alexander of 2783 Monrovia Drive died Friday 
morning in a hospital after a long illness.

A native of Wake Forest, N.C., she was the widow of William Alexander and a 
daughter of the late John and Mrs. Emma Durham.

She was a member of United House of Prayer for all People and its Soul Hunters 
Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mozelle Morris of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. 
Lillie Bass, Mrs. Millie Mangum, and Mrs. Lucy Morrison of Durham and Mrs. Viola 
Young of Plainfield, N.J.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

The family will be at 1694 Ellwood Ave.
