The Virginian-Pilot, Friday, March 1, 1968

NORFOLK - Albert Alexander, 72, of 1832 E. Lexington St. died Thursday in a 
hospital.

A native of Atlanta, he was the husband of Mrs. Cleo Alexander and a son of 
William and Mrs. Ella Alexander.

He was retired from Swift & Co. He was a Navy veteran of World War I and served 
in the Army in World War II.

He was a member of Christ Pentecostal Church.

Surviving besides his widow, are two brothers, William Alexander Jr. of Detroit 
and Coleman Alexander of Atlanta; and a sister, Mrs. Velma Denson of Atlanta.

A funeral service well be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Christ Pentecostal Church 
by the Rev. B.F. Dodson. Burial, with military honors, will be in Calvary 
Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home has charge.
