The Virginian-Pilot, Saturday, April 17, 1965

NORFOLK - Mrs. Emma Alexander of 3186 Pioneer Ave. died Thursday in a hospital.

A native of Pilot Mountain, N.C., she was the widow of Robert Alexander.

She is survived by a son, James R. George of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Creola 
Barber of Winston-Salem, N.C.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
