Norfolk - Mrs. Evelyn J. Alexander, 70, of 705 Kimball Court, died Friday, Dec. 
2, following an accident.

A native of Tarboro, N.C., she was a member of St. Luke Holiness Church of 
Christ Disciples.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Vivian A. Johnson, Mrs. Marion A. 
Williams, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Robinson, Mrs. Joan A. Quinn, and Mrs. Evelyn A. 
Fulton, all of Norfolk; five sons, Herbert Alexander, and Frank Alexander, both 
of Washington, Harrell Alexander of Walford, Md., Bruce Alexander of Chesapeake, 
and Joseph Alexander of Atlantic City, N.C.; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Johnson of 
Bronx, N.Y.; 52 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Hale Funeral Home had charge.
