Mrs. Louise Alexander Dies in Petersburg

NORFOLK - Mrs. Louise Alexander, 64, 1218 Covel St., died Sunday at 8 a.m. in a 
Petersburg hospital after a long illness.

She was a daughter of the late Mrs. Amanda Crawford and the widow of Samuel 
Alexander. A native of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Alexander had lived in Norfolk for 
over 40 years.

She had attended Garretts Tabernacle Church.

Mrs. Alexander is survived only by one son, Samuel Alexander of Norfolk.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the 
Chapman Funeral Home by the Rev. E. Paul Simms, pastor of First Baptist Church 
on Bute street.
