Virginian-Pilot  January 8, 1933
Henry Clay Alexander, son of the late James M. and Caroline Dillon Alexander, a 
native of Columbia, N.C., and for the past several years a resident of Norfolk, 
died at 1:55 yesterday morning at a local hospital.  He is survived by one 
daughter, Miss Helen M. Alexander, and one son, Vincent Alexander, both of 
Norfolk.  Mr. Alexander resided at the Glenarm Apartments, corner Granby and 
Thirty-seventh Streets.  Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, of 
which he was a member, for services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, with the 
pastor, the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, officiating.  Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
