The funeral of Mrs. Maggie M. Alexander, wife of J. L. Alexander, took place 
yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Queen Street Methodist Church, the 
service being conducted by Rev. T.J. Taylor, the pastor, and Rev. R. N. 
Hartness of the Trinity Methodist Church. There was a very large attendance and 
a handsome display of floral tributes. The interment was in Elmwood, the 
following were pall-bearers: J.H. Freeman, R.C. Bramble, J.T. Hartman, A. P. 
Duke. A.C. Ward and Roland Buchanan.
