The rites were to be conducted at Graves Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Samuel A. Wilson will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A member of Eureka Lodge, Mr. Alexander was employed by Baxter Auto Service in the 2600 block of Church street. He was crushed to death when a car he was directing onto a grease rack went out of control and pinned him against a cinderblock wall. Mr. Alexander’s survivors include his wife, Mrs. Katie Alexander; a stepson, Percell Johnson; a daughter, Mrs. Carthinia Pollard of New York City; and two brothers, Lonnie Alexander of South Mill, NC and Will Alexander of Baltimore.
