Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 19, 1951

Mrs. Gertrude Virginia Wolf Alexander, 37, died at the residence, 815 29th 
Street, Newport News, yesterday at 2:30 p.m. after a long illness.
She was a native of Norfolk and resided here until January of this year, when 
she moved to Newport News. She was the daughter of the late John George and Kate 
Morton Wolf and wife of James D. Alexander.
Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Wolf Day, of California and two 
brothers, John George Wolf, of Florida and William C. Wolf, of Norfolk.
The body was taken to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk, pending 
arrangements.

MRS. GERTRUDE VIRGINIA WOLF ALEXANDER - Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander, who 
died Monday in Newport News, will be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. at the Francis 
A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 
Norfolk.
