Virginian Pilot dated Saturday December 12.1981
NORFOLK - Leroy Alford of 2912 Kimball Terrace, a native of North Carolina, died
Thursday in a hospital.
He was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Hopewell, VA.
Survivors include a daughter, Helen Bailey of Norfolk, and eight grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday in Twilight Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel,
by the Rev. J.L. Kearney.  Burial will be in West Point Cemetery

Newspaper stated burial in Elmwood Cemetery - actually buried in West Point
