Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 4, 1933

Miss Nannie Walker Allard, aged 73, died at the residence of her brother, 714 
West  Olney Road, yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock after a long illness. She 
was the daughter of the late Richard O. and Mrs. Virginia Thrift Allard, a 
native of Gloucester County and a resident of Norfolk for 43 years. Surviving 
her are two brothers, William D. Allard, of Norfolk and Jasper E. Allard, of 
Fort Lee, N.J. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the 
funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne Road. The Rev. P. Rowland 
Wagner will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

WALKER ALLARD, in the 74th year of her age.
Funeral services THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON, December 4, at 3:30 o’clock, from the 
funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road. Friends of the 
family invited to attend. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery.
