Virginian-Pilot, September 20, 1901
The many friends of Miss Susan Virginia Allard, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. D. D. 
Allard, will learn with sorrow of her death, which occurred at the home of her 
parents, No. 213 Gibbs Avenue, at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, in the 18th year of her 
age. The funeral will be held from Trinity M. E. Church at 11 o'clock this 
morning.
