Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 26, 1990
 
Helen P. Allegood, 83, of the 5400 block of N. Sunland Drive, died Dec. 25, 
1990, in her home.
Mrs. Allegood, a native of South Norfolk, was the widow of Marvin K. Allegood. 
She attended South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include a son, Marvin K. Allegood Jr. of Virginia Beach; three 
sisters, Mary Sullivan, Martha Collins and Evelyn Alberson, all of Chesapeake; 
a brother, William B. Plummer of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. James Bennett. Friends may join the family at the 
residence. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk, is handling 
arrangements.
