NORFOLK - Lendora Haskins Allen passed quietly and peacefully into eternal rest
Monday, Feb. 15, 2010.
She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late Henry and Jessie Hall
Haskins. She was the widow of James E. Allen Sr. Mrs. Allen was a private duty
nurse and a member of Calvary Revival Church.
She is survived by a son, James E. Allen Jr.; a daughter, Teresa P. Claiborne;
four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of
Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
