NORFOLK — Frank Wilson Allen, 69, of 608 Redgate Ave., died Wednesday in a 
hospital.
He was a native of Mathiston, Miss., and had retired from Western Electric after 
35 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and Pioneers of America.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Banks Allen; a daughter, Mary Sue Sutherland of 
Richmond; two sons, George Wilson Allen and Frank Ellison Allen, both of 
Norfolk; a sister, Sally A. Haller of Washington, D.C.; a brother, William A. 
Allen of Fullerton, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cox Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Don 
Lane. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
