He was a son of Mrs. Virginia Seymore Allen and the late William K. Allen, and was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. Besides his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Walter G. Blick, Mrs. Ernest Richards and Miss Naomi S. Allen; one brother, Percy O. Allen; two nieces and three nephews. Mr. Allen was a member of the local post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, No. 610-12 E. Freemason Street, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.
