Norfolk Ledger Dispatch May 23, 1907

The funeral of William K. Allen takes place this afternoon at four o'clock from 
his late residence, No. 17 Falkland Street, Rev. W.M. Vines, of the Freemason 
Street Baptist Church officiating. The deceased was a  well known upholsterer 
and was very highly esteemed. He died yesterday morning at St. Vincent's 
Hospital after a protracted illness, aged 57 years and leaves a widow and 
several children.

ALLEN – At St. Vincent’s Hospital, Wednesday, May 22, 1907, at 4 a.m., WILLIAM 
K. ALLEN, in the 58th year of his age.
The funeral will take place from his residence, 17 Falkland street, THIS 
(Thursday) AFTERNOON at 4 o’clock. Friends and acquaintances invited to attend.
