Norfolk - Mrs. Martha D. Allen of 930 E. Olney Road, the widow of James E. 
Allen, died March 9 in her home.

A native of Norfolk, she was a deaconess and member of the Missionary Society of 
Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Tyler and Mrs. Catherine Moore, and 
two sons, James A. Allen and Willis H. Allen, all of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held March 13 in Jerusalem Baptist Church by the Rev. 
Bernie L. Jacob.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Home in 
charge.
