The Virginian-Pilot, Friday, June 5, 1981

NORFOLK - James Allen of 1008 Barney St., retired from Addenbrook Septic 
Contractors Inc., after 20 years of service, died Wednesday in a hospital. He 
was a Norfolk native and a Baptist.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Vivian Tyler, and a brother, Willis H. Allen, 
both of Norfolk; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Service Chapel by the 
Rev. E.C. Walton of Enoch Baptist Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. 
The family will gather at 2409 Ruffin St., home of Mrs. Vivian Tyler.
