Mrs. Gertrude Katherine Allen, 72, of 3306 Somme Ave., the widow of William E. 
Allen and school secretary for Christ the King Church, died Friday at 168 Orleans 
Circle.
A native of New York City, she was a member of Christ the King Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Grosso, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Sandi 
Doman, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sons, Donald J. Allen, of West Orange, N.J., and
William A. Allen, of San Angelo, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Noby and Mrs. 
Vera Flail, of Clearwater, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Christian Wake service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments.  A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be said Monday at 10 a.m. in 
Christ the King Church.  The family will be at 168 Orleans Circle.
