Norfolk - William Edward Allen, 60, of 3306 Somme Ave., husband of Mrs. Gertrude 
Steele Allen and son of the late William and Mrs. Margaret T. Allen, died Tuesday 
at 2:50 p.m. in a hospital.
A native of New York, he lived here a month.
Besides his widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Grosso, of 
Norfolk, and Mrs. Patricia Fulmer, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sons, Donald Allen, 
of West Orange, N.J., and William Allen, of the Air Force; a sister, Mrs. Mary 
Booker, of Hampton, N.Y.; and 14 grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Saturday at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.  The Rosary will be recited in the funeral apartments Friday at 
7:30 p.m.
