NORFOLK - Frank Elison Allen, 53, of the 600 block of Redgate Ave., passed 
away on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 in a local hospital.
 

Born in Norfolk, he was the son of the late Mary Banks Allen and Frank W. 
Allen. He was associated with Ghent United Methodist Church and Central 
Baptist Church. 


Survivors include his sister, Mary S. Sutherland of Florida; a brother, George 
Wilson Allen of Norfolk; and two nieces, Mary L. Sutherland of Delaware and 
Susan A. Fernandez of Florida. 


A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Central Baptist 
Church by the Rev. Donald L. Hardaway. Burial will be private in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions 
may be made to Central Baptist Church, 701 West Olney Road, Norfolk, VA 23507.
