The funeral of Mr. John R. Allen took place Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from 
the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. Geo. G Graham, No. 533 Church street, and 
was largely attended, the Odd Fellows, Pythians and Heptasophs being present. 
The service was conducted by Rev. E. H. Rawlings, of Centenary M.E. church and 
the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
